Erik Schmitz
Born in Germany and raised in the plain of Lleida. Graduated in Fine Arts at the UB in 2016 in Barcelona. He specializes mainly in sculpture but during his studies at the UNAM, in Mexico City, he also learned the techniques of engraving and printmaking. In 2020 she finished her studies as a Superior Technician in Sculpture applied to the show and in projects and direction of decoration works at the Ondara Art School in Tàrrega, Catalonia.
He participates in art festivals, makes works for public space and participates in numerous group exhibitions in his region but also abroad, to countries such as Algeri (Tindouf, Sahrawi refugee camps), Sweden, Latvia, Mexico, Serbia, Andorra.
