Guillem Font, born in Barcelona on September 9, 1986, has a degree in Fine Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona. He also has a degree in Creative Illustration from the Escuela Superior de Arte y Diseño Lonja de Barcelona and is a technician in Audiovisual and Show Production from the EMAV (Barcelona).

He currently divides his time between Mexico City, where he works as a visual artist and co-director of the participatory art collective Ruta Gráfica Mx, and Catalonia, where he works as a workshop teacher in the cycle of Revestiments Murals i Art Urbà a l’Escola Superior d’Art i Disseny Ondara de Tàrrega.

At the same time, he develops his personal artistic project in disciplines such as drawing, illustration, engraving, animation and mural painting. His work is inspired by popular culture, scientific illustration and science fiction, with a style closely linked to his fascination for the textures and organic forms of the flora and fauna that inhabit the planet. Through this research, he has developed a signature style that explores the intersection between folklore, pop culture and the environment.

His large format work seeks to reconnect local communities with their natural heritage. His proposals, with a clear predominance of grayscales or monochromes, invite us to reflect on the disconnection with nature in big cities and how, due to human impact, ecosystems progressively lose their colors. He has created murals for urban art festivals, institutions, and other private entities in Spain, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Morocco, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, and Colombia. In addition, he has participated in group and solo exhibitions in Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Mexico and South Korea.
